The sun came out and Spring was in the air, despite the gloomy forecast.

We soon came upon a field of assorted alpacas

then fields of young lambs with their mothers.

We had our morning stop at Bletchingly, and a mile later came up a small hill with this view to the west. Gravelhill Wood is on the left.

We lunched at Godstone Green.

The walk turned out to be a mile longer than advertised but the weather was too nice to warrant much complaint.
